Worksheet: Mind Your p's and q's.

The saying, "Mind your p's and q's," means to pay close attention. Long ago, books were printed from letters on small blocks. These were like ABC blocks. If you print with a lower case p on the block, it looks like a lower case q. To get it right, they really had to mind their p's and q's. They also had to be careful about b's and d's and other letters which are very much alike.
