First Steps
- Use the search box to see if your book is already on this site. Some books were reviewed without author or publisher contact. I had learned about them from other sources.
- Read the requirements of the book itself.
- Read some of the reviews in the Bookstore.
- Query by email before submitting a book. Books will be reviewed only if the quidelines have been followed.
- Include a SASE if you want the book returned.
Requirements of the Book Itself
- It fits into one of the categories in the Learning Abilities Books' Bookstore.
- It is currently available at Amazon.com.
- It is a children's book or an educational book for parents, educators, and health professionals
for children in preschool through fifth grade.
- It is grammatically correct except possibly for rare exceptions in dialogue.
- It is written well.
- No curse words are used.
- It is in English or English and another language.
Next Steps
- Email the full title, your name as it is on the cover, and a brief description of the content
without a sales pitch.
- Tell how it fits into one of this site's categories. I will read about your book at Amazon before replying to you.
- Use this email address by replacing the AT with the @ sign to avoid spam.
