Guide to Grammar and Writing Charles Darling, Ph. D. developed the site in 1996 to help his students write reports and research papers. Currently the site has more than 30,000 hits daily. It is well organized offering help with subject-verb agreement, parallel structures, argumentative essays, a way to submit questions to "Grammar English" (picture of Whistler's Mother with a computer in her lap), etc.
Ms. Avery's Links This site is more than a collection of links. It contains pages highlighting Jeanette Avery's recommendations for classroom management, discipline, books, and interviewing. The site is interactive. Parents and teachers ask questions and make suggestions. She responds to their questions and adds appropriate suggestions. Teachers often let her know of upcoming units, and she adds related information to the site. It's continuously growing and maintained daily.
